Leica Battery BP-SCL6 for Q3
Lithium-ion battery for Q3, Q3 43, Q3 Monochrom, SL3, SL3-S — the current Q-and-SL platform battery.
The BP-SCL6 is the current Q-and-SL platform battery. Lithium-ion, 1,800mAh, USB-C charging compatible via the in-body charging on the Q3 and SL3 families. It powers the Q3, Q3 43, Q3 Monochrom, SL3, and SL3-S — the entire current generation of fixed-lens compacts and mirrorless system bodies.
Position in the lineup
A spare BP-SCL6 is the practical purchase for anyone who shoots a current Q or SL body for more than a few hours per session. The Q3 and SL3 platforms support in-body USB-C charging, which removes the external charger from the kit but does not help when the battery is at 5% an hour into a shoot. Same battery across five bodies means one spare covers the whole Q-and-SL range.
